Michael Grunwald’s book entitled The Swamp: the Everglades, Florida, and the Politics of Paradise focuses on the conquest of mankind over Southern Florida. Although his encompasses various topics and periods in humanity from the natives, to the arrival of the whites, and until the current administration of the government, it could be seen that one of his main focus is the effect of the Bush’s government’s actions on the Everglades.
