This kind of world is not unachievable, but it requires the implementation of a firm and strict code of ethics by the United States Supreme Court. In the hallowed halls of justice, where the fate of nations is decided and the principles of democracy upheld, an institution is tasked with the weighty responsibility of interpreting the law: the US Supreme Court. Nevertheless, the question is, are our esteemed judges following a particular code of ethics? The level of examination and doubt is increasing; hence, the need for a reliable and enforceable code of ethics for the Supreme Court is becoming more and more pressing. In the essay, the report tries to identify how the Supreme Court justices should uphold the code of ethics in their work. The Supreme Court judges in the United States Should adhere to the law by upholding the code of ethics. A code of ethics in the Supreme Court without a proper enforcement mechanism poses a threat of failure to follow the standards. There should be a procedure for addressing and investigating allegations of misconduct of the supreme judges to maintain accountability and credibility (Zia & Dar, 2021). In order to ensure justice, disciplinary measures like removal or censure from cases must be carried out impartially and consistently (Baude, 2020). The accountability of actions is paramount because supreme judges may find themselves in situations where they could receive bribes. Therefore, the Supreme Court's credibility could be undermined without the proper mechanism that safeguards the code of ethics. If an institution like the United States of America Supreme Court fails to adhere to ethical standards, it could raise paramount concerns about its accountability.
