Describe what a peace-making court.
In other words, a peace-making court is called a restorative justice court. Others refer to it as a healing justice court. By definition, it is regarded as a legal institution that mainly focuses on resolving different conflicts or disputes by applying a holistic method (Johnson, 2016). The court also applies collaboration approaches to ensure that the relationships are restored and issues that led to the conflict are managed appropriately. The aim is to promote healing, foster relationship reconciliations, and understand underlying issues.

The three characteristics of a peace-making court include having a restorative and healing approach. The priority of a peace-making court is healing and restoration to address conflicts.
