Workplace Bullying
Workplace bullying is common and takes several forms. It involves harmful practices such as hostility, being aggressive or shouting, and silent treatments such as a manager not attending to an employee's crucial concern (Forbes Magazine, 2021). Other practices that depict workplace bullying include excluding certain people on malicious grounds, spreading rumors and false news, and openly and rudely undermining others and their efforts.
Anger and aggression are commonly utilized by the bully in the workplace. They do this in several ways. First, they may use verbal abuse, where they belittle and humiliate others by insulting them, especially while shouting (Jandt, 2016). Secondly, they may use intimidation, where they threaten their victims. For instance, the bully may threaten an employee to make them lose their job or even inflict physical harm. Thirdly, they may use physical aggression, where they physically assault their victims.
