Conflicts have risks associated with them when they occur. It helps to know what risks could be associated with the conflicts between parties to the conflict. In particular, six risks could be prevalent.
According to Chang & Zelihic (2014, pp. 3417–3419), those six risks are as follows:
Social risk
Overall risk
Time risk
Psychological risk
Physical risk
Performance risk

From your experience, argue a good approach for minimizing those risks.

Conflict and Risks
In workplace organizations, conflicts are present in every department. These conflicts can be healthy or unhealthy conflicts. One of the conflicts at the workplace is on pay and remuneration. An entry-level officer was being paid more than a senior officer, all because the entry-level officer was related to the management. It created a conflict in the workplace because employees felt that there was no fair remuneration and their services were not valued. The conflict was severe, so some senior employees had to go on strike to resolve their issues. An analysis of the conflict discussed here generates two risks that are associated with the conflict.
Psychological and performance risks are the two triggers associated with the conflict. Psychological risk comes in when the employees have no trust in one another and the management because of the unfair treatment in remuneration matters (Chang & Zelihic, 2014).
