Introduction
The groupthink word is used for representing a group in which every individual is required to raise concerns about controversial topics. According to the researchers, there is no unified groupthink model present. There has always been controversy about the groupthink model and diversified opinions exist about the topic. However, groupthink can be applied across a wide range of groups and communities. The psychologists are of the opinion that group members have hesitancy in sharing their ideas in scenarios where they believe that a strong disagreement is present within the team (Russell, Hawthorne and Buchak, 2015). The presence of a positive relationship between group participants has a positive impact on resolving issues present within society.

Groupthink theory has been applied in case studies and research papers which cover different topics ranging from military and political decision making. In addition, case reviews have also been used by organizations for developing a strategy and taking important decisions like baseball umpiring and fraudulent activities conducted by WorldCom (Rose, 2011).
