Speaking of environmental justice, look at the plan to cover the Cross Bronx Expressway. Here are two good sources: https://www(dot)welcome2thebronx(dot)com/2021/04/26/the-time-to-cap-the-cross-bronx-is-now/ and https://www(dot)youtube(dot)com/watch?v=2uL6Zgzq3N0. The video is an Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez video, and pitches the New Green Deal, which one could argue is political, but it’s tightly focused on the Cross Bronx Expressway and includes a few more sources and visuals than the website.

4. What conclusions can you draw from your analysis?

Introduction
Environmental justice can, therefore, be defined as the even split of the costs and the benefits regarding the environment with none of the adverse outcomes of the environment burdening or over-imposing the other (Martin et al., 2020). This paper focuses on environmental justice for the Cross Bronx Expressway. I know this place well because my family house is about 4 to 5 blocks from this road.
Personal Encounter with Cross Bronx Expressway
Cross Bronx Expressway is an expressway in the Bronx, New York City, where I reside. Therefore, I observe the environmental nuisance and the impact that the occurrence has on people's health. At the moment, the expressway encounters congestion every day and releases several gases that affect air quality. From experience, it is evident that this area has one of the worst traffic jams, some of which are evident in the outer region of New York. Also, because of the traffic jams, most drivers and motorists get to "honking," contributing to the rise in noise vending. People sometimes need help to doze off, especially from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM because of rush hour. Traffic noise is distinguishable even on higher floors of apartments. Vehicles are being heard through honking.
It impacts the minority and the most vulnerable groups in society, say the poor, the elderly, and the children. My family members rarely come to my place, insisting that I should be the one to visit them. This is because of their unpleasant experience of leaving their house early, but due to the nonobservance of road safety rules concerning road rage, an accident caused a traffic jam. Since it was too filled at that time and there were so many cars, it was almost impossible for the police and the ambulances to get through, and due to this, they prioritized such cars, which made my family's condition even worse. Next, it is stated that they wished to nap once they arrived at my home in the late evening, but various types of noise disturbed their sleep frequently. Furthermore, later that night, an asthma-suffering kid in my home experienced an asthma attack of moderate severity. This could be because she was exposed to high levels of air pollution while playing with the car window by opening and closing it due to boredom.
Aside from these, as environmental racism has not changed the structure of the economy, the second case of poor experience is also witnessed, and apart from two poor experiences, the location of my neighborhood next to the Cross Bronx Expressway also suggests environmental racism. Therefore, the population's social status in expressed cities needs to be higher than that of other cities since the property prices in areas close to expressways fail to allow people to experience favorable economic standards. In addition, adverse investments can never be made due to the continuity of e...
