INTRODUCTION
It is essential that nurses understand the issues related to healthcare financing, including local, state, and national healthcare policies and initiatives that affect healthcare delivery. As a patient advocate, the professional nurse is in a position to work with patients and families to access available resources to meet their healthcare needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Your submission must be your original work. b. Determine the requirements to get a referral to see a specialist in the two healthcare systems.
c. Discuss coverage for preexisting conditions in the two healthcare systems.
3. Explain two financial implications for patients with regard to the healthcare delivery differences between the two countries (i.e.; how are the patients financially impacted).

Healthcare is essential to the well-being of individuals and communities and is scathing to the country's overall economic health. A healthy population is more productive and contributes to the country's economic growth. Access to quality healthcare is also essential for preventing and managing chronic diseases, becoming increasingly important as the population ages. In this discussion, the importance of healthcare in the USA will be explored, as the arrangements in place for financing healthcare, the responsibilities of nurses in the healthcare system, and some of the financial and social constraints that impact the healthcare system.
2 Discussion and Analysis
2.1 Comparison of the Healthcare System of America and Japan
The healthcare system in the USA is complex. Healthcare financing arrangements vary depending on various factors, including income, employment status, and eligibility for public programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. The majority of residents of America get healthcare services through their employer-funded health insurance procedures. However, a significant portion of the population is uninsured or underinsured, which can lead to financial barriers to accessing care. Nurses play a critical role in the healthcare system in the USA. They are responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients, supporting the work of physicians and other healthcare professionals, and advocating for the health and well-being of patients. Nurses are involved in all aspects of healthcare, including patient education, disease prevention, treatment, and management of chronic illnesses. They work in different work-set ups, including hospitals, local clinics, educational institutes, and long-term care centers.
2.2 Healthcare Access for Children, Unemployed and Retired Persons in America and Japan
One of the most pertinent setbacks facing the healthcare system in the USA is the high cost of care. The country's healthcare cost is among the world's highest, which can create financial barriers for many individuals and families. In addition, the lack of universal coverage in the country means that many people are uninsured or underinsured, making it difficult to access care when needed. Some of the most pressing healthcare issues in the USA include the high cost of care, the lack of universal coverage, and health disparities. In addition, the country is facing a growing epidemic of persistent diseases, such as diabetes and heart disease, which require ongoing care and management. There is a need for systemic change in the healthcare system to address these issues.
