LeeAnn Renniger gives an interesting talk on how to give and receive feedback. First, she starts by acknowledging that today, everything that people do is centered around being able to give and receive feedback. She then delves into history and shares how Confucius talked of how humanity must be able to share difficult messages well. However, Renniger notes that in the workspace, people do not know how to give feedback. This is in line with Gallup’s research that indicates only 26% of employees believe that the feedback they receive helps enhance their productivity.
