Collaborating with Stakeholders

Collaboration helps organizations grow and evolve. It also enables leaders to embrace new and innovative ideas to increase productivity and provide quality services and programs to others.



In this assignment, you will meet with stakeholders to evaluate a current strategic operations plan. Then, you will report your findings and reflections in a 3 minute video.



Step 1

Review the action plan and agenda you created in the previous module. Think about ways to obtain meaningful feedback on the strategic operations plan.



Step 2

Plan your stakeholder meeting by establishing a time/location and preparing materials as needed. Prepare notes to guide the discussion. For an in-person meeting, consider providing light refreshments if possible.



Step 3

Using the agenda you created in Module 3, facilitate the meeting. Monitor engagement levels among participants.



Consider recording the session so you can engage in deeper levels of reflection later. If you record it, be sure to obtain consent ahead of time.



Step 4

Reflect on the overall experience.



Create a 3- minute self-reflection in video format using Kaltura or another tool of your choice. Include the following:



Describe the process you engaged in to collaborate with stakeholders.

What have you learned about stakeholders and the strategic planning process?

What feedback surprised you the most?

How will you incorporate their feedback?

No slides or visuals are required in your video.
