Goal setting is a critical part of leadership, guiding our daily work. For organizations to thrive, they must monitor productivity and performance. Key performance indicators (KPIs) are valuable tools for tracking objectives and metrics over time. They are an effective way to ensure everyone works toward a common goal.
In this assignment, you will draft 3– KPIs related to your organization's strategic operations plan and mission. You may choose the format for submitting them to the assignment (paper, table, infographic, etc.).
Step 1
Review the data you collected from the stakeholder meeting you led during Module 4.
Step 2
Highlight trends within the data by considering the following:
What areas did stakeholders identify as strengths?
What challenges did stakeholders cite?
In what areas did stakeholders observe a need for improvement?
Describe how challenges could be addressed with specific actions.
What themes arose from the stakeholder meeting?
Step 3
Create 3–organizational performance goals with reliable and measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the strategic operations plan and the organizational mission. Include the following components:
goals and KPIs,
instruments of measurement,
relevance,
timeframes,
suggested targeted actions,
reporting process, and
progress monitoring tools.
Step 4
Select a format to display the KPIs you developed and the components listed in Step 3 (a 1-page Word document, an infographic, a visual graphic, a PowerPoint, etc.).
Step 5
Submit your APA-formatted title page, your KPIs and other components from Step 3, and a reference page using the appropriate assignment submission type (i.e., File Upload, Web URL, or Text Entry) for your product.

Review of Stakeholder Meeting Data
The stakeholder meeting on October 15, 2024, was useful in informing today's strategic operation plan and identified opportunities to improve. The meeting was held in hybrid mode in which physical and virtual participation was allowed. With the invitation, diverse stakeholders including members of the medical staff, administrative staff, patients, members of the community and the insurance company attended the meeting. The session was intended to gain perspectives on the strategic operations plan and sought the best ideas to improve patient care and operational efficiencies.
