Introduction
Early childhood care and education programs are one of Australia's best cornerstones for children. Some valuable statistics explain that in 2017, an estimated 60% of the children experienced some form of childcare (Hard et al., 2018). During the same year, an estimated 90% of the eligible children were admitted into a preschool program in the previous year before full-time school (Hard et al., 2018). Quality early childhood care and education programs assist children in having the best form of childhood development. In addition, such early childhood education also supports the workforce participation of caregivers and parents.
The historical, socio-cultural, and policy setting in the education sector affects young children's learning conditions differently. For instance, the policies play a role in protecting children's learning. The UN declaration on the rights of the child policy legally binds international agreements setting out the civil, economic, political, social, and cultural rights of every child regardless of race, religion, or abilities (Moody, 2018). For example, children are discriminated against in school due to their race or religion.
Australian Early Education
Early childhood education in Australia provides some uniqueness in providing quality education services. It usually embraces cultural diversity, where many children from different races receive education at various educational institutions (Simonsini & Lasen, 2018). The Australian early childhood educational system encourages children, families, community members, and educators to share their traditions, talents, and backgrounds, forming a sense of belonging amongst the people involved. In this respect, the Australian system for early education ensures a sense of inclusion for the staff, families, and children. According to Australian early childhood education, children must thrive in well-established relationships with peers and educators. In addition, the early childhood system also tries to give such children some levels of consistency in their room environments by having some of the best educators.
The educational policy in Australia is part of the new educational policy that presents some comparative analyses of educational reforms (Hard et al., 2018). The UN declaration on child's rights provides an effective framework for children's education and well-being. The educational policy in Australia focuses on enhancing educational outcomes regarding quality and equity in connection with the UN declaration on child's rights. Such a policy also focuses on institutions on how to raise quality standards of education on such premises. In this regard, school improvement, examination, and assessment become the basis of such policymaking (Simonsini & Lasen, 2018). The policy also focuses on organizing the system to deliver some of the best educational policies regarding funding and governance. Hence, The UN declaration on child's rights helps the Australian education system formulate its policies and implement them.  
The Purpose of Education
Education in Australia forms one of the most relevant policy frameworks because of its immense significance. The school system promotes excellence and equity, ensuring that all young people become successful learners (Hard et al., 2018). It is also meant to make such students creative and confident. The education policy framework is also critical in creating some informed and active citizens. In supporting the achievements of educational goals, the purpose of education also develops stronger partnerships to ensure success in a school system. 
Promoting school leadership that ensures students succeed in school is also a primary goal for the educational curriculum. In this regard, good school leadership will help support some quality teaching practices that make students better. In addition, good school leadership will also strengthen early childhood education practices (Zabatiero et al., 2018). The goal of the educational policy in Australia is to enhance and promote the development in the middle years of such children. Such an objective also helps support youth transitions and the senior years of the school system.  
The early years learning framework clearly explains the nature of education and its impacts on society. According to the framework, children need to ensure that their education is effective (Ortlipp et al., 2017). The framework also looks into respect and adversity and the essence of partnerships to ensure children's education is made better for sustainability.
Educational Research, Theory, and Policy
The United Nations declaration on rights of the child policy protects Australian school children. It protects Australian children to ensure they attend school and pursue their educational goals (Moody, 2018). Through the policy, people can respect and protect children as they understand their worth.
Research plays an immense role in influencing policy direction as far as educational matters are concerned (Hard et al., 2018). Therefore, as an educator, research will influence educational policy direction. Thus, there is a correlation between the application of policy processes and educational research initiatives. Research has a positive influence on education policy, and such an influence can continuously be enhanced over time (Simonsini & Lasen, 2018). Evidence has continued to play a leading role in informing education policy in many countries worldwide. There is also the need to apply such evidence to influence policies in academic matters affecting early childhood education from the Australian perspective.
