Introduction
Early childhood care and education programs are one of Australia's best cornerstones for children. Some valuable statistics explain that in 2017, an estimated 60% of the children experienced some form of childcare (Hard et al., 2018). During the same year, an estimated 90% of the eligible children were admitted into a preschool program in the previous year before full-time school (Hard et al., 2018). Quality early childhood care and education programs assist children in having the best form of childhood development. In addition, such early childhood education also supports the workforce participation of caregivers and parents.
The historical, socio-cultural, and policy setting in the education sector affects young children's learning conditions differently. For instance, the policies play a role in protecting children's learning. The UN declaration on the rights of the child policy legally binds international agreements setting out the civil, economic, political, social, and cultural rights of every child regardless of race, religion, or abilities (Moody, 2018). For example, children are discriminated against in school due to their race or religion.
Australian Early Education
Early childhood education in Australia provides some uniqueness in providing quality education services. It usually embraces cultural diversity, where many children from different races receive education at various educational institutions (Simonsini & Lasen, 2018). The early years learning framework clearly explains the nature of education and its impacts on society. According to the framework, children need to ensure that their education is effective (Ortlipp et al., 2017). The framework also looks into respect and adversity and the essence of partnerships to ensure children's education is made better for sustainability.
