Workplace, classroom, and social groups typically share traits. These involve sharing goals, duties, and communication methods. The accomplishment of a task, pursuing a common goal, or forming group ties are usually some common characteristics that groups share. Group members may create subgroups with specialized functions that contribute significantly to the whole (Safari et al., 2020). Use effective communication channels to encourage group cohesion and progress, including in-person meetings, interactive chats, and digital platforms.
One positive example I experienced while working in a group was a rewarding group activity at my college a few months back. Our group had to investigate a complex psychological topic and deliver it thoroughly. My diverse skills helped create a happy environment for everyone.
I initially ensured everyone’s thoughts were considered by listening carefully during the rewarding group activity to play my role in making this experience positive.
