Sustainability Measures and Environmental Regulation
India has recently implemented environmental legislation and sustainability, although its efficacy and enforcement are questionable. The Indian government has strengthened pollution and waste rules, particularly for industry. The government has renewable energy rules and carbon emission reduction plans (López Ramírez et al., 2022). Enforcement varies, and a U.S. company's advanced sustainability requirements may conflict with the law. Mexico's environmental sustainability is middle-bull. The tabulation above shows Mexico's ecological sustainability strengths and shortcomings. The nation has environmental laws, but enforcement is poor. In industrialized regions, pollution and waste management are increasingly pressing (Agarwal et al., n.d.). Like India, Mexico wants to increase sustainability, but enforcement remains the issue. A sustainability-focused U.S. corporation faces conflict risks in both countries, but India is less dangerous owing to government backing of renewable energy.
Cost and Workforce
India's large, young labor population and educated workforce, particularly in I.T. and engineering, make it ideal for computer peripheral production. The logistical benefits of proximity to the U.S. may offset Mexico's somewhat higher labor costs compared to India.
