Subjects 1,864,316 observations among veterans Methods A retrospective, longitudinal analysis Measures Telephone and video telehealth and in-person visits Findings The research established that the social workers maintained a consistent level of engagement which was higher with use of telephone and video telehealth. There was a decrease in in-person visits. Limitations This article focuses on the social workers, thus failing to provide details on the social work aspect of connection with the veterans and provision of services.
