This study analysed whether music therapy could improve psychological features, as well as whether there is a causal relationship. The research question was whether structured music therapy can enhance people’s emotional resilience and whether this can indirectly improve their well-being and employability. The research looked at age, sex, and education levels, and how they may affect people and products. The research also looked at whether age, sex or level of education moderated the effect of music therapy. The researchers of these studies (the authors) asked 256 men and women (the subjects) who were all engaged in some form of employment training. Participants were aged between 18 and 60 years and were involved in employment training, job search, or work probation. The researchers were used pre – post research design. All participants completed three different scales of emotional resilience, well-being, and employability pre–music therapy and post–music therapy after eight weeks.
