They were two different civilizations but in comparison had incredible armies. However, they were incompatible concerning how they run their forces. The two empires though were undermined at the first they emerged as conquerors in all the neighboring societies. Additionally, they had significantly influenced their own society. For example, the Mongols had changed the lives of many via discipline and the Romans had influenced the society through training. The two empires had similarities as well as differences in the manner of carrying out their everyday activities. Therefore, herein are the similarities and differences in the military organization of the two empires such as discipline, strategy, and weapons.
