Wildfires. Wildfires have become a global disastes.
This is a persuasive essay that advocates a solution to a significant problem of the writers' choice. Include Works Cited, Annotated Bibliography (at least 5 sources this time). Clearly thesis statement need to be the right place (last sentence of the introduction for example, need to followed with transition words like Therefore, Hence, Thus...). Clearly topic sentences need to show at the first sentence of your body paragraph with transitions words (such as Initially, Moreover, Additionally, eventually...) Clearly conclusion is necessary with transition phrase (such as To sum up, in conclusion...)
The problem I came up with is that there are many wildfires happened in decades. Feel free to change it .
Find some solutions for this problem and convince the readers why this solution works.
Feel free to change the problem to any other problem that make you comfortable and can let you write 9 pages. at least 5 academic sources are required
Annotations are also required as an independent assignment based on this essay, it's as same format as I gave in Da Vinci paper. If you only write the essay, it's fine, if you can prepare an annotation I would be really appreciate.
Thank you.

Wildfires
Wildfires have become a global disaster with incidences getting uglier as days go by. In most states, fires have given the citizens fear for their lives, considering a state like California, which happens to be the third most loved state in the entire United States of America. In some cases, fires burn for up to 16 days, covering an area of about 77, 000 acres. In Taboose, once fire burned for 64 days. Similar incidences have been witnessed in several other parts of California in the last three years, with extreme occurrences in Maria, South, Ranch, Getty, Hillside, and Barham, which started burning on November 10th, 2019. These wildfires, sadly, have seen many lives being lost and a lot of property destroyed. The big problem here is that the problem does not seem to be going away. It is a little disappointing both to the great nation of The United States and other countries since many other countries look up to the US in any case of such disastrous moments. Is there a way that there can be a permanent solution? What is needed to assure the Americans that regardless of whatever happens their lives will always be safe and that they will always be guaranteed safety and immediate action? Therefore, this paper highlights various solutions of wildfires clearly explicating the practicability of each solutions as well as their effectiveness by comparing their pros and cons in relation to other solutions that have been applied before.
To begin with, what is the cause of these wildfires? It is universally agreed that most of these wildfires, over 80 percent, are caused by human beings mishandling small outdoor fires. These fires could be as a result of burning waste material, negligence – when cigarette smokers discard it carelessly, and sometimes it may be a campfire left unattended. In as long as the whole country may point blame fingers to the government claiming that it has failed to contain the problem, these very citizens being directly affected by the fires are indeed directly responsible for their predicament. Also, wildfires may be caused by natural occurrences, one which neither the government nor the citizens are reliable, and about these, all there is to do is try to contain the fires and reduce their effect. An excellent example of a natural cause of wildfires is the lighting. Volcanic eruptions are also possible natural causes of these wildfires because of the impact off hot burning lava. However, it is also significant to note that sometimes, equipment failures may start fires that may easily flare up, especially when the equipment was out in the fields. For example, a running engine may produce sparks when it runs into a problem or when an accident occurs; the chances of fire starting are very high. Even so, what are the effects of these wildfires?
To boot, the effects of wildfires are worse than they are explained. The sting the fires bring on innocent residents of the affected areas, the environment, and the entire ecosystem is of great concern. First, on the effects, these fires cause death and destruction of property. In California, on November 9th, 2019, three lives were lost, and one of the three died in their car (Cave 2019). Also, wildfires destroy the soil by making it too hot, which makes the temperatures extreme for the soil humus, and the nutrients end up being lost for good. This destroys soil fertility, reducing productivity, and inhibiting the proper utilization of resources. The fires also destroy the green vegetation, which is very useful in the production of oxygen and taking in of Carbon (iv) Oxide. This implies that the air purity will be significantly affected. Ash and smoke may be dangerous to some people, and these wildfires may bring them health problems for such people. (Walker et al. 2019) In most cases, the smoke emitted from these fires causes air pollution and the destruction of the ozone. The removal of the ozone layer propagates global warming.
Moreover, the fires are fought using fire-fighting equipment, which mostly includes water, which, when left to run on the bare soils left behind by the fires causing soil erosion, which may be detrimental to the environment and may bring adverse effects even on the productivity of the land. This effect may stay around for a very long period of time and may leave the area affected inhabitable. Apart from the air pollution as a result of the smokes, these wildfires also bring about water pollution. This is mostly as a result of run water spilled in containing the fire running into water bodies. The water used in firefighting contains chemicals intentionally incorporated to enhance the ability of the water to fight the fires. The chemicals induced in the water bodies make the water environment less conducive for the water animals and even the irrigation projects befitting from the waters. However, for a while now, it has been argued that these fires have a positive effect. Some of these effects include cracking up hard seed coats hence triggering germination. This becomes useful in seeds that have hard seed coats, which may only be cracked under extremely high temperatures. Also, the fires may trigger woody seed pods held in the canopy to pen. This enhances the release of seed into the fresh ash left behind by the flames, which are fertile and best for the woody vegetation.
Is there a way we can solve this big problem of wildfires? Yes, there is. However, before digging into the solutions and their efficiency, it is essential to examine the type of measures that the government has taken to solve the problem. On the recent turn of events, the President of The US threatened to cut off helps to California because "California has done a terrible job at forest management." Everyone is only pointing blame fingers to the other party for failing to do their work or for doing lousy work. As this is happening, states are still burning, and the property is yet getting destroyed by the very wildfires.
Basically, to ensure the issue of wildfires becomes a problem of the past, a lot of emphases should be put on prevention. This gives the first solution of wildfire which advocates restoration of the proactivity of the forests. That is; the dead, dry trees need to be removed from the woods, which will give the seedlings a clean environment to grow and flourish. This will make the forests all green and as a result, reduce the easy of the woods to catch fires and also inhibit ease in the spread in case of fire. This approach will serve a lot of functions other than just preventing wildfires. One advantage is that, it will improve the forest conditions making the forests thick and green. This means that more Carbon (iv) Oxide will be taken in and more Oxygen given out. Another advantage is that, the woods will become a clean environment for the animals and organisms of a wider variety, thus reducing incidences and chances of distinction. In addition, thick forests also serve as water catchment areas. Therefore, proper implementation of this solution is a jackpot, for there will be more water natural sources.
Furthermore, the byproducts of forests can be used to generate more revenue. This includes putting these byproducts into use, such as making paper and furniture or using them as a renewable source of energy. This will mean that more jobs are created as there will be a need for people to identify the dead trees or the branches left around...
