In writing this analysis, I chose How the Internet Enables Intimacy by Stefana Broadbent as the ideal topic for study. After listening to the TED Talk, I concur with the speaker’s assertion that the internet plays a vital role in our contemporary lives despite the risks associated with it. For example, the availability of internet services within the lives of humans helps them relay information from one agency to the other quicker than in the ‘ancient’ days. Conversely, critics posit that these forms of new technologies are responsible for the disconnection and dissolution of human intimacy, which is false.
