Urban Flooding

The web-based module, Urban Flooding: It can happen in a flash!, generally stresses the weightiness of the matter; that is, the fact that flash floods are quick to occur in slightly sloped urban areas and that there are serious consequences attached to it. It further illustrates possible scenarios that could present during a flash flood, with which appropriate corresponding precautionary measures are provided in order to inform the public - or simply its audience - as to how they should proceed should they encounter such catastrophic event. On the whole, however, the module is referenced particularly to the deluge that struck Fort Collins, Colorado on the 28th of July 1997.
