John F. Kennedy (JFK), Adolf Hitler and Martin Luther King (MLK) are known to be some of the greatest speakers of recent history. This is because of their ability to move masses and generate passionate reaction amongst their followers and listeners. These three famous leaders, however, had a different approach and characteristic that actually made them popular among their followers and listeners.
JFK, a young and charismatic leader at the time of his popular speeches and quotable punch lines, was known to have a great speech writer who is known to understand him and the his style of delivery and thinking. This shows us that in as much as a person may be deemed great in his or her own respect; he or she should have in place a team of qualified professionals who can help them communicate effectively.
MLK’s key feature in his “I have a dream speech” is employed a great deal of poetry and exploited the full use of English devices in his speeches to achieve the desire...
