Current Events in the North and South of the African Continent.
Evidently, all over the world, nations are continuously experiencing social economic and political injustices. Some of these injustices are manmade, such as political unrest, while others are natural calamities such as water shortages and earthquakes. Notably, some of the North and South African countries including South Sudan, Tunisia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, have experienced significant social economic and political injustices.
Recently, the north of Africa has experienced a heightened political unrest. Notably, South Sudan has topped the list, especially in the world newsrooms around the world. In the last three months, the country, South Sudan, has been experiencing political tension that has included killing and displacement of innocent people. More than twenty thousand people have fled the capital of Juba in search of safety. As of today, more than 500 people have lost their lives through the war between the rebels and the government forces and the situation is still escalating.

The death toll has been rising since then and the public has started expressing their discontent in the Islamists led governance. However, the Prime Minister, Ali Laarayedh, has promised to resign amid pressure from the opposition. With the new deal on the constitution, the country may go into the next election with a cabinet that is not party oriented. Earlier in the same month, October, unknown men in Tripoli had escorted the prime minister to Libya, Ali Zidan, unwillingly from a hotel commonly known as Corinthia. According to the news, the militia group is known as the Libyan revolutionary operations room. Apparently, this group is loosely tied to the interior ministry that is on the government's payroll. It is suspected the prime minister was nabbed as a reprisalfor the capture of one of the suspects that is thought to be linked to the Al-Qaeda, known as Abu Anas al-Libi, earlier in the month.
In Malawi, the citizens are on the verge of a water shortage, especially large parts in the north where the rains have not come down since February of this year. Women in the northern parts of the country have to wake up in the wee hours of the night and walk for more than 40 minutes to the nearest borehole where they have to line up for water. As the water table recedes even further, the boreholes are also drying and soon the number of the women that return home without water is going to rise even higher.
The erratic rains have also led to food shortage in some of the areas and the government is hard...
