The film Querelle is a 1982 drama film that still excites interesting social and film production issues today. It concentrates on sexuality as the central theme of the piece. Querelle, the protagonist, has sexuality issues that derail his productivity as a man. The first scene is at a bar where a lady dances alongside a man. This scene later determines the central theme of the movie on sexuality. Funnily, a game is played in the club where dice is tossed. If the visitor wins, he gets to sleep with the woman who owns the bar. If the visitor loses, then he sleeps with Nono. People struggle with issues about their sexuality, as Querelle does.
