Dante Alighieri, was an Italian poet from Florence Italy, born in 1265. He was best known for his central work “the divine comedy” later named La divina commedia. It is considered the greatest literary piece composed in the Italian language.
Dante’s life was influenced by the long history between the papal partisans and imperial called, Guelfs and Ghibelliness. He grew up in a city full of postwar, expansionism and pride.
