Resumes
People's background information is crucial. It reflects their family history and the education they have gone through. This information can refer to people's racial and social origins, financial status, and work experience. Comparatively, a resume is a short account of a person's career and qualifications. It ensures that individuals acquire jobs based on their capabilities in multiple fields. The cover letter also allows people to show their strengths when applying for jobs. For example, it lets individuals demonstrate why hiring them would be the best decision. This discussion evaluates a person's background data, resume, and cover letter. It includes chronological, entry re-level, and functional resumes.
Background Information
Oliver Lincoln is an American resident with rich background data. Oliver is defined by numerous career objectives with a plan to become a nurse. He aims to increase his technological skills to enable him to operate multiple advanced technical systems and devices. An individual's ability to work in the changing nursing environment relies on their ability to use various technological tools in healthcare. They must aim to improve efficiency. With this attribute, nurses can facilitate the achievement of better patient outcomes. Lincoln intends to get certifications that allow him to work in any health center in the U.S. He also wants to enhance his communication skills. With the ability to share data effectively, nurses acquire knowledge from their colleagues while offering advice to their clients to attain proper care.
Oliver's educational background reflects his ambition to become a nurse in the future. This argument is linked to his exemplary performance in various learning levels. During his early childhood education, Lincoln portrayed good results that earned him a chance to join the primary school learning level. He later graduated with a B (plain) in his overall score. Oliver then enrolled in high school, where he achieved a B (plus) at the end of his academic pursuit. In his post-secondary education, Oliver demonstrated good results that enabled him to pursue a nursing course at the University of Toronto, where he earned first-class honors. A nurse in the U.S. must have relevant academic qualifications to secure a job. The reason is that professionals in the health sector rely heavily on acquired knowledge to deliver multiple functions.
Oliver Lincoln has served in multiple organizations as a nurse. Peterson Center is one of the entities where he worked in the emergency department handling injured patients, especially those involved in accidents. Lincoln highly observed discipline while working with other officials to improve patient care. He also worked at Sharp Memorial Hospital as a specialist in the High Dependency Care unit, where he attended to critically ill patients. He showcased his ability to save lives and provide quality care. In addition, Oliver embraced research to detect multiple treatment models for patients suffering from severe complications like chronic diseases. Later, Lincoln joined Kaiser Permanente Fontana organization, where he worked in the physical examination department. He would critically evaluate the symptoms evident in multiple patients to give a practical test for them.
Multiple components in his background data should be incorporated into the cover letter and resume to attract a possible employer. The aspects include the education factor and work experience. With adequate education, nurses can work effectively to realize better patient implications (Mills et al., 470). Practitioners with relevant nursing knowledge can quickly embrace critical thinking to design remedies for multiple strains facing healthcare facilities. The working experience factor should be considered because it gives Lincoln an added advantage over new candidates who have not associated with patients for an extended period. Since Lincoln has worked in multiple institutions, he can improve the new workplace by generating ideas on how he worked with colleagues in his previous healthcare entities. Better patient experiences are associated with improved clinical results. The situation promotes patient satisfaction.
While employing new employees, healthcare entities must consider experienced personnel to attract more clients. Patients come to healthcare facilities hoping they will receive exemplary services that meet their needs. Hence, an employer intending to realize better profit generation and sustainability should consider hiring Lincoln. Healthcare practitioners with a reliable experience in the industry should be offered managerial posts (Różańska et al., 624). Such a strategy ensures that the organization can remedy multiple concerns using the available workforce. Since Lincoln is experienced in healthcare matters, he can guide other employees toward becoming competent corporate stakeholders. Thus, any executive intending to employ Lincoln should mainly focus on his work experience and academic record. Such a strategy plays an essential role in enabling corporate well-being.
Chronological Resume
A chronological resume lists a person's job, beginning with the most current one at the top. Generally, it focuses on an individual's professional achievements and work history (Ashman and Melissa, 001). Most companies prefer this type of resume since it presents candidates' information orderly. Below is a template indicating Oliver Lincoln's chronological resume.
