Instructions: Since this is our last written response, I don't want to burden you guys with too many options. For this week, I am only giving you one option and hopefully you will spend much of your time on your last quiz and the final. As usual, the deadline for the response (150-200 word preferably, excluding your quotation) is 8:00 AM, 5th December. No late submissions accepted.
The only option: What is your definition of "hero" in an epic? Do you consider Satan the poem's hero and why? What is the difference between hero in Paradise Lost and that in other epics such as The Iliad? Use examples to support your argument.
