The article, “The Photographic Activity of Postmodernism” by Douglas Crimp has examined different aspects of photography in postmodernism. The author has emphasized that postmodernism is keen on the dispersal of the art as well as its plurality. The author has explained that the aesthetic mode used in the seventies was performance and was mainly used in producing work which was suitable for a specific situation, and it necessitated spectators in front of the work.
