Agile Software Development Cycle
Agile software development cycle refers to a methodology that focuses on a collaboration between solutions and requirements teams. The process of producing working software assumes a pattern that is both cyclical and of iterative progression. In this methodology, work is usually done in iterated cycles that are regular (Hoda, Salleh, & Grundy, 2018). These cycles are referred to as sprints and usually last two to four weeks. In the Agile cycle, developers do not focus on designing for future needs even when those needs might seem quite obvious. The security teams work to anticipate any form of threat or risks that may occur. It is normal in the Agile cycle for security threats that were not anticipated at the beginning of the development process. The critical point to note for Agile methodology is the sprint aspect.
