This assignment assesses the following Course Outcomes:
PS330-1: Analyze theories of personality development.
In this assignment, you will create a blog post for the general public on the following personality theories: Humanistic, Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Biological. It should be easy to read, well-organized, and engaging. Be sure to explain any technical terms that you may use. Then, you will choose the theory that you find most interesting and highlight its key points. Additionally, you will explain how the theory can be applied to your life (Personal or Career).
Conduct research on the key concepts, principles, and ideas behind each of the theories following theories:
Psychodynamic
Humanistic
Behavioral
Biological
Make sure to use credible sources for your research. Summarize the key points of each of the four theories and include the following for each:
At least three key concepts of each theory
Identify the contributions of the theory to the field of psychology.
Explain how the perspectives of each theory can be applied to understanding personality development.
Then, choose one theory and describe how it can be applied to your life or work. Be specific and give examples to show how the theory can help you better understand yourself or others. (i.e., for those going into the ABA field you may want to choose the behavioral approach, for those going into addictions or general psychology you may choose a theoretical orientation of choice, for those interested in the industrial organizational psychology field, you may choose a humanistic approach that can be applied to understanding how job satisfaction, motivation are connected or a behavioral approach which can be applied to understanding how job performance is influenced by reinforcement and feedback.)

Personality refers to long-term patterns and traits that drive individuals to consistently feel, behave, and think in certain ways. While there are many personality theories, the four main ones are psychodynamic, humanistic, biological, and behavioral theories.
