Developing a Personal Background Statement
Hi, I need to write a personal background statement to be sent to Morgan State University to be admitted into the Master's Program of Social Work.
I have to write about my personal and professional goals, career objections, and a discussion of a social issue of interest to the applicant.
A social issue of interest for me is immigration stressors, especially stressors for immigrant students trying to pursue an education after highschool and not been able to. I have type a lot of details about me and why this is important for my if you could use that on the essay. because right now is all over the place and I was just typing , if you could add anything else regarding this social issue that may be found in an article.

I am an adaptable, accountable and motivated, student who has the key knowledge and skills vital for the social work industry. Holding an approachable and friendly demeanor is priceless for this field; moreover, I am inquiring and eager to study and test new things.
Personal skills
I think of myself to be a good communicator, team leader, and influencer. Born in Peru, I do get along with persons from different social, cultural, or ethnic upbringings. I have a great work ethic, and my approach to work is energetic, which gives me the zeal to get on. My communication skills are outstanding, and I can work well on my initiative or with teams. I am non-judgmental, trustworthy, and approachable, and I contain the great motivation to prosper at any job I do.
Work experience
To advance more practical and valuable understanding, I operated during the summer as a volunteer at aid for vulnerable persons locally. While at it was my duty to help the full-time personnel with numerous responsibilities, comprising dealing with queries from the public and updating organizational registers. This was a good method for me to know extra about actual social work, and I appreciated assisting individuals when they needed it. I took part in a wide array of fields at times and in some workers' nonattendance; disability, child care, social work methods, DACA, and substance misuse. At this point, I understood how much change a social worker can bring through being supportive and listening to someone. Generally, I felt that the knowledge has really helped me build my assurance in my capabilities and established to me indeed, I need a career in this field.
