According to Emily, controlling one’s emotions is important to achieve success. She seems to be aware of her emotional feelings but has never been able to record them during the therapy sessions (Behary, 2013). In the coming days, Emily has plans to write them down, but currently, she is busy dealing with a married couple and a client who is about to file a divorce. There are times when Emily has to deal with depression and anxiety, but she does not let her personal feelings interfere with her professional life, especially when she has to deal with clients who need immediate medical assistance or therapy.
