The First Video
The Early Intervention video shows how important the role of the early intervention service coordinator is in the early intervention program. The person who organizes services and resources for the family and child is called a service coordinator. The person who helps with services guides the family through the early help system, makes a special plan for them, and links them up with local resources (Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, 2016). Moreover, the coordinators help as links between the family and the early intervention team. By doing this, they make it easier to get help. This action can take some pressure off families and give them information and services that they otherwise would not know.
