These belief systems are usually a product of upbringing and experiences, which leave certain imprints in a person in the form of perspectives, attitudes and even stereotypes (Gonzalez et.al.,2023). These subconscious aspects of an individual usually greatly impact the person when it comes to decision making, without the person clearly knowing that they have. Identifying personal aspects of implicit bias is usually a continuous process that needs one to accept it and embrace learning, self-reflection and even self-criticism of the same.
