An ethical dilemma I faced before was whether to report a group member to the teacher because he had not contributed to the class assignment. We received an assignment as a group, and everyone had their part to do. However, one group member failed to do his part, and we had to do it as a cover-up. Still, the student received marks when the teacher was awarding us marks. I was in a dilemma because telling the teacher would mean the student's marks would be affected negatively, and failing to say to the teacher would mean cultivating a harmful habit in the student.
