Creating A New Position
The job to be described is an HR position. An HR position's job description and specifications might vary from one company to another. However, certain components are universals for every HR job position regardless of the company that individuals intend to work in. this paper will outline four components of the job description and specifications for the HR position.
Summary Objective of The Job
One of the job components of the job description and specifications section is the summary objective of the job. This section will include a list of all the general responsibilities, their purposes, and their relationship with customers. It will also describe the relationship between the job responsibilities and the workers and the results expected from the employees. In the HR position created, the general responsibilities for the employee would be planning and managing the recruitment staff. The main role of HR is to oversee the remuneration process to ensure that the organization has hired the most qualified candidate. Therefore, the purpose of this key responsibility is to ensure that every recruiting staff is up to date with the recruitment guidelines in the organization. Another job responsibility would be to conduct the orientation process and training for new employees. This role aims to ensure that the new employees are familiar with the necessary organizational factors before commencing their job. Such would ensure that the employees are aware of where to get the necessary resources in the course of the job, thus enhancing their effectiveness. These are the key roles for the HR employee, and therefore, any other minor tasks will also be outlined. The other tasks are based on the effectiveness of recruiting, orientation and training processes.
The summary objective of the job will also include the relationship of the job responsibilities with customers and workers. The relation with customers is that the job responsibilities will enhance customer satisfaction. When an organization has reliable employees, they effectively execute the allocated roles to ensure they provide the customers with good quality services (Jeong, 2019). If the customers are not provided with good quality products, they are likely to seek the same from the competitors of the specific organization. Therefore, the goals are to enhance customer satisfaction by hiring the most qualified candidates for the job roles. The relationship between the job responsibilities and the workers is that they will facilitate the creation of a conducive working environment. If the work environment is not conducive or is filled with conflicts, the workers would not effectively achieve the set goals. In turn, such could negatively affect the organization’s performance.
Qualifications
An employee's qualifications play an important role in determining how productive they would be in the organization. The job market has become very competitive, and therefore, potential candidates ensure to get the most qualifications possible (Jeong, 2019). Some people pursue continuing education or short courses to enhance their academic qualifications. Other people work in different refutable organizations to enhance their experience levels. Employers seek to hire the most qualified candidates in terms of education and experience. In this case, the HR position requires an individual with the right education and experience qualifications. Te experience in this position is important because it will enhance the individual effectiveness in carrying out the job. If the employee has enough experience, they will require minimal guidance on what needs to be done. Such would reduce the chance of a poorly performed job. The above job position is suitable for a candidate with five years of experience working as an HR in reputable organizations. The candidate should also have a master's degree in human resources. These qualifications are sufficient to ensure that the individual will perform well in the job position.
Another factor of the qualifications sections is the required technical skills. The candidate should have skills such as organizing and planning, critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and coaching skills. These skills are important because they make it less challenging for HR to handle issues in their work scope. If the candidate does not have these skills, they would not be qualified for the job position because they will find it challenging to handle issues. HR has many responsibilities that require them to have all the necessary qualifications for doing the job. For instance, the coaching skills w...
