Online dispute resolution can reduce the need for face-to-face interaction during business-to-business disputes and also business-to-customer disputes. It is important to guide human behavior and the online dispute resolution process with a set of ethical principles. Ethical principles can help participants to avoid unfair or abusive behavior in the online dispute resolution process.
