In the United States, the socioeconomic class can influence the way citizens’ vote for politicians or a political party. For example, during campaigns, politicians spend most of their time expressing their ideologies to the masses with the intent of wooing them to vote for them. Arguably, the socioeconomic class affects the political dynamics of the United States in various ways. For example, an individual’s social class has an intrinsic impact on their life expectancy, physical health, ability to receive adequate health care, and nutrition. Researchers assert that most electorates in the United States are willing to vote for politicians who promise to improve their socioeconomic class once they are elected as compared to those who do not.
