The Book of Job explores human suffering through the experiences of Job, who was a faithful servant of God. Throughout the book, Job and his friends try to establish the cause of his suffering. However, in the end, Job dealt with his suffering satisfactorily after he talked to God. The book of Job provides an effective way of coping with our suffering.
The lessons from the book of Job are that suffering is inevitable and that in many cases, there are greater forces at play, not just God. The Book of Job begins by explaining that God gave Satan permission to pass Job through suffering, with one exception; not to take his life.
