College Writing 1 class was an interesting class albeit challenging. Before I enrolled in the class, it could not visualize that I would learn anything new but writing. But as the semester progressed, it opened my perspective about writing. I came to know that writing is an iterative process where you have to revisit your work and refine it and that there is never a ‘final draft’ bust strive to get closer. My attitude about writing has also changed the way I see the process not only in College Writing 1 class but even in other courses. I now see writing as a communication medium where I have to package my message nicely for my audience, and my success is determined by the value the audience can draw from my work.
Secondly, I came to learn of a new process which I overlooked in writing. It is the most important step as you refine and ensure the contents of the essay reflect the expectations of your audience.
