Group- based methodology entails mutual input of every member of the group towards the progress of a task. The members work together, and are required to appreciate the effort contributed by each individual participant. This is because people have different abilities and experience. The members should be flexible enough to perform duties when needed.
The use of supportive learning strategy has proved to be an effective approach in learning literature and language. It involves using small groups is an effective strategy towards maximizing each member’s input to implementation of a project. The tutor guides the groups to facilitate learning in the team. The learners cooperatively work together to complete a common project assigned to them by their instructor (Johnson, et al., 2014).
