Music plays an important role in the lives of people. Accordingly, the lyrics and rhythm are vital for the human entertainment and teachings. According to Plato, rhythm and harmony find their way into inward soul. Plato opines that nations formulate polices to prohibit songs when they are dangerous to the public. However, the fundamental laws changes when the music takes another direction. It is clear that music empower people to create harmony in their lives. People have maintained peace by listening to the music. In this case, music is used as a tool to quell anger and give an individual peace of mind. The words expressed through a song are always informative in nature (Wright, 2010). Secondly, music also brings people together and enjoy. In this sense, it reduces loneliness and make people happy. The words and phrases used in a song can make an individual cool the temper. Initially, people listened to music in a gathering as a sign of enjoying together.
Music plays an critical role in the interaction of people. Individuals come together and share while listening to the music. In the process of listening to the song, an individual can be moved by the words. In this case, the theme of the song can be so touching that it reduces emotions. In addition, the words from the song can also act as pieces of advice. Musicians are moved by the experience and they tend to share their experience to the public.
