Control; application of forced-air warming blanket, routine surgical care, adjustment of surgical room temperature, and pre-operative forced-air warming blanket with ambient temperatures within the surgical room adjusted.
Outcome; application of adjustment of surgical room temperature and forced-air warming blanket interventions were established to be less effective than the interventions currently used in the prevention of perioperative hypothermia.
