Stories and Storytellers
Story writing and storytelling is an integral part in the School of Film and Television. For the purpose of this essay I will discuss on the characteristics of a good story and story teller. A good story has a hook this are inspiring few lines at the being of the story which are meant o grab the attention of the readers and convince them to read the story. The writer ensures that the story cultivate the reader o have the desire of reading the story to its conclusion and achieve the goals. The author would also intentionally create a conflict which the reader must deal with it first before achieving their goals. The story must have a climax this is a turning point which makes it even more interesting for the reader/ listener of the story to concentrate and be eager at its end. In conclusion the story must have a resolution by tightening the loss ends and answer all the unresolved questions.
Great storytellers are able to connect with the audience despite of factors which would arise during the storytelling session. They are able to connect with the audience by engaging the audience by use of body language or eye contacts. The story teller must be able to have a logical sequence of events and have an interesting character that keeps the audience listening. Should be able...
