The internet motivates planning since it acts as a marketing environment that is virtual and interactive. It converts information from physical to digital and marketplaces into market places. It allows users to interact with one another by use of their networked computers. This has a positive motivation for planning. Social cultural expectations reduce motivation. For instance, people may portray racial prejudice thereby demotivating their colleagues in doing certain tasks.
