Introduction
Animal control basically refers to the service of helping animals ranging from wild animals and animals in distress. However wildlife such as elephants and rhinos are of great interest because they are killed for their trumps and ivory. Therefore, it is important to keep more attention to the protection of such animals. As a result, this paper seeks to examine the importance of animal control.
The biggest threat to wildlife is poaching. It is the illegal hunting or capturing of wildlife. For instance, although elephant hunting has been banned in many countries, the activity still occurs due to the international demand for elephant tusks. This is due to the importance of elephant tusks in making identification chops, piano keys, and billiards balls. These items are precious, therefore indicating elephants are mainly killed for their ivory.
