Discuss what academic integrity means to you and why should anyone care about academic dishonesty?
Having integrity means being honest even when no one is watching you. Academic integrity means safeguarding academic honesty and guidelines that have been set by the college and the University. Academic integrity means doing one's work even if there are people around who could assist. It means that students should write their papers and cite the resources properly. Personally, academic integrity means that I should take am online quiz without referring to any textbook or friend if the quiz is supposed to be done that way (Auer, Guralnick & Uhomoibhi, 2017). Alternatively, it could also mean that I should report anyone I suspect of cheating on an exam or assignment.
