Synopsis of Articles from Nursing Journals Distinguishing Level and Strength of Evidence
In nursing practice, accurate identification and application of research is essential to achieving successful outcomes. Being able to articulate the information and successfully summarize relevant peer-reviewed articles in a scholarly fashion helps to support the student's ability and confidence to further develop and synthesize the progressively more complex assignments that constitute the components of the course change proposal capstone project.
For this assignment, the student will provide a synopsis of eight peer-reviewed articles from nursing journals using an evaluation table that determines the level and strength of evidence for each of the eight articles. The articles should be current within the last 5 years and closely relate to the PICOT statement developed earlier in this course. The articles may include quantitative research, descriptive analyses, longitudinal studies, or meta-analysis articles. A systematic review may be used to provide background information for the purpose or problem identified in the proposed capstone project. Use the "Literature Evaluation Table" resource to complete this assignment.
While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for this assignment.

Key Findings
Even though e-learning is not the traditional way to learn, still it provides an alternative approach to study (Lahti, Hätönen & Välimäki, 2014). This is the reason why healthcare professionals should take advantage of this.
The major point that was obtained through this study indicates the significance of patient simulation and how it is more effectual than other traditional methods (Shin, Park & Kim, 2015)
.
The major findings that were obtained pointed out that to this day, students of nursing consider clinicians as their role models and learn a lot from them (Baldwin, Mills, Birks & Budden, 2014). Learning from them is good for their upcoming professional life.
The findings that were obtained through this study indicated how interventions could effectively help in increasing cultural competence (Gallagher & Polanin, 2015). The interventions that were studied for this study are highly effectual.
Recommendations
It would be good if more numerical studies were selected as they give better insight for studies like these
The addition of qualitative study could give more insight into this study
There were very few articles related to the impact of nurse educators on nurse students regarding their professional development.
More cultural elements could have been discussed
Explanation of How the Article Supports EBP/Capstone Project
The article supports the capstone project because it signifies the importance of continuous and modern learning in healthcare and how it is important to have an alternative.
This article also signifies the importance of continuous education by discussing the significance of the innovative technique of patient simulation. Therefore, it is associated with the capstone project.
The article discusses the professional development of nursing students under the supervision of clinicians and how it helps them in educational training. The EBP practice implementation in healthcare would help the students to learn its importance.
The article supports the capstone project as it talks about the educational interventions that could be implemented for cultural competence which is something necessary in healthcare settings.
