THE PUBLIC HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE AND THE STATUS OF WORLD HEALTH
Background
Public health priorities can change significantly between regions of the world and sometimes between individual countries within a specified region. Most of the developing countries are faced with major problems associated with infectious diseases, injuries, population growth, migrations, and rural-urban shifts. In these countries the interaction of infection, malnutrition, and population growth exacerbates the growing public health problems. These problems are further affected by culture, illiteracy, and significant environmental problems.
Assignment
Choose a developing country and create an agenda for enhancing public health for that country. Select between eight and 10 categories and prioritize them; provide a paragraph or two justifying the particular ranking you give each category (remember to present appropriate data to support your selections).

Length: Case Assignments should be 3-4 pages long.
References: At least two references must be included from academic sources (e.g., peer-reviewed journal articles). Required readings are included. Quoted materials should not exceed 10% of the total paper (since the focus of these assignments is critical thinking). Use your own words to build on the ideas of others. Materials copied verbatim from external sources must be enclosed in quotation marks. In-text citations are required as well as a list of references at the end of the assignment. Introduction
Kenya is a country found in East Africa near at Horn of Africa. It has a population of about 40 million affected by similar health problems. Despite the efforts, the Kenyan government and the ministry of health people continue to experience adverse in the health issue. This public policy agenda is to address the main challenges the Kenya people face.
HIV/AIDS Prevention
Kenya is among the African countries in the sub-Saharan region with a greater number of people living with HIV. In one of the states called Nyanza, the HIV prevalence is 20% and, in Kenya, the prevalence is 11.8% of the people living with HIV. Kenyan government has, instituted measures to eradicate the HIV, there are still challenges. These include the growing numbers of the Kenyans, high illiteracy levels, lack of adequate facilities and health professionals. Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning (MCH/FP)

Promotion of Food Supply and Proper Nutrition
Nutritional deficiency states are a common challenge especially among the children and among the pregnant mothers.
