The Overview of the scope of practice for your home state should include
information on whether the state is independent, restricted or reduced practice and the rules/regulations that go along with it.
Negotiation strategy should include the points that the applicant is willing to
compromise or be flexible with and those points that cannot be compromised.
Examples of points include health insurance, hours worked, on call situation,
vacation time, CME, paid malpractice, paid cell phone etc.
Continuing professional development plan should include strategies to ensure
competency and life-long learning. The continuing professional development plan should include goals for the first month in a new position, goals at 6 months, one year and 5 years.
The marketing/ networking plan should include options in the job search as well as organizations that will assist in the job search and continuing professional development.
The cover letter should express interest in a position and highlight your
qualifications for the position. The cover letter and resume should be the last
component in the paper before the reference page.
References are also required for this assignment. The paper should follow APA 7th
edition format. The cover letter and resume while they need to be part of the
paper, they do not need to follow APA format with references
Basically I am a nurse in the Nurse Practitioner program and I will be working in California. I expect paid time off, reasonable working conditions and health insurance. I don't really have much that I would negotiate other than that for a job, however, I really don't care what you put in there although paid cell phone is almost never done in medicine so that would be pointless to put in the paper. The position that I am going for is trauma surgery. I don't know what my goals are, so maybe google reasonable goals for nurse practitioners and try to relate them to a position in a hospital as a trauma surgeon. I do not need you to do the resume as I already have that completed and can include it in the paper.
