Research has for a long time now found a common place in nursing practices. In order to increase the level of service delivery health care professional incorporate research into the practise. By including the research finding as evidence, they aid their decision making process. In the recent past there has been moves to make medical services patient centred as well much more effective. This though, requires a certain level of skill, with regard to ability to interprete the finding and makes informed decision, which will lead to the ultimate improvement in the level health care provided. Before they get to the part where they have carried out the research and they are now trying to make sense of the results (Fitzpatrick, 2007). They have to start at the beginning where they come up with the research question and further gather all the relevant information that they can use to refer to while looking for the informational gap in the nursing practices.
